Shopmate is a grocery receipt scanner and price tracker. Snap a photo of your receipt, we extract the items and prices, and you can review your history and compare per-unit prices (like $/100g) over time.

Getting started

• Open Shopmate — you can start straight away as a guest, no sign-up needed.
• Tap to photograph a receipt (or pick an existing photo from your library).
• We extract the store, items, and prices. Review and edit anything that looks off, then save.
• Open History to see past receipts and compare prices per unit.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account?

No. Shopmate works fully as an anonymous guest. Create an account (email + password) only if you want your receipts to follow you to a new or reset device.

I forgot my password.

Email tom@shopmategrocery.com from the address on your account and we'll help you regain access.

Why does the app ask for camera, photos, or location?

Camera and photo access let you capture or upload receipt images. Location is optional and only used to show nearby stores first when tagging a receipt.

How is my data used?

Your receipts build your personal history. Prices are also added, in anonymized form, to a shared community price catalog. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I delete my account or data?

In the app, go to Account → Delete account, or see the account deletion page.
